In April 2011, Treasury Wine Estates appointed Close Consulting to manage the refurbishment of their UK HQ in Twickenham, London. The business was consolidating a number of brands into one new overarching business and the aim was to establish the new brand within the corporate interior. The challenge was that the business remained in occupation for the duration of the works and therefore the project management of the phasing and cost control of the lengthy project were of key importance to TWE. CC provided project management services, cost consultancy, contract tender and negotiation services and oversaw the design provided by the design and build contractor who was selected to carry out the project. The project was completed on time and CC ensured that the project budget was managed and savings were made by the selection of appropriate materials and build techniques.
